Why conversation games work
Most evenings with someone you know well run on autopilot. You talk about the day, about logistics, about what to eat. It is not that there is nothing left to say — it is that nobody asks.
A good question does the asking for you. It gives you permission to bring up something you would not have raised unprompted, and it gives the other person a reason to answer properly rather than out of politeness. That is the whole mechanism, and it works just as well on a first date as it does after ten years.
Which is why the questions here are written rather than generated in bulk. Every one is checked against a simple test: would two real people have a better evening because of this card? Common questions
Do we need to create an account?
No. Every free game works with no account, no email and no download. You only sign in if you buy the Premium Pass, and that is so your purchase follows you to another device.
Do we need two phones?
No — one phone is the normal way to play. You pass it between you, which is half the fun. If you are apart, share the game link and you will both get the same questions in the same order.
Will we get the same questions every time?
No. A question never comes up twice until every question in the set you picked has been shown once. Only then does the set start again.
Is it suitable to play with friends and family?
Yes. There is an intensity slider from gentle to spicy, so you set how bold it gets. Nothing is explicit at any setting.
Does it work offline?
Yes, once you have opened it. Add it to your home screen and the games keep working with no connection — useful on a plane or with bad signal.
